COH Consulting is a Web design and development practice located in Needham, MA, whose sole proprietor is Cliff Hayden.
Cliff is a highly skilled Web practitioner employed by the IBM Corporate Webmaster group for ibm.com. Over the course of his thirty year career with IBM, Cliff has developed skills in a broad range of IT technologies, mostly in the enterprise server application development space with IBM products: DB2, MQ-Series, WebSphere, Java, and J2EE, but also with third-party products such as Adobe Flex and Oracle.
Cliff is an excellent communicator as well, benefiting from his 20 years of experience in IBM Global Services, consulting with many large Financial Services clients.
He has also delivered a number of pro bono engagements on behalf of the Needham community, using the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack, and increased his skills in HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, PHP, and WordPress. He applies enterprise style IT Architecture approaches like separation of concerns, designing for flexibility, reuse, and scalability to small system projects.
Cliff also is the lead technologist in Riverbend Partners, a provider of hosted offerings for community advocacy organizations.
